Second Plein Air of 2017

On the Bridge
Plein Air, Twin Lakes, Eden Park
Mt. Adams, Cincinnati, Ohio

Unlike our trip to Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, last week, it was warm and sunny at Eden Park this week. Strolling couples, kids playing in the ponds, Mothers yelling at them "DON'T", joggers, picnickers, and too many cars driving through.

We had a warm winter, but it was COLD the day I checked out Cherokee Park, here in Liberty Township. Sun was breaking through intermittent clouds with snow flurries. Got some useful photos.

I took my wife to see the giant sycamore that suffered damage last fall. She's in the piece for mood and scale.

Near Riverside Drive, Covington

Daily Watering

The well groomed homes along Riverside Drive in Covington are that way for a reason. The home owners have dedicated crews out grooming and pampering their yards on a regular basis. Beautiful homes with beautiful grounds.

Late Fall Hike

Crossing the Creek

From a photo taken on one of our hikes from "60 Hikes within 60 Miles of Cincinnati", this one was in Versailles State Park in Indiana. Backlit figure against the shadows of the creek bottom. Fall leaves in the creek and sun sparkling off the water.

Misty Morning

The fog was just lifting when I went out to the north end of Mason-Montgomery Road in Turtle Creek Township. A beautiful blue sky was above the fog layer and you can see how the water vapor became thicker as you looked in certain directions.
