This replica of Monet's Japanese bridge is located in the Water Garden at the Cox Arboretum and Gardens MetroPark in Dayton. The pond at the Cox is not full of water lilies as at Giverny, but still has many lovely reflected views.

There's more than trumpet vine, grass and poison ivy in those fence rows! This view has some blackberries ripening, but not ready to pick.

Still life painted from set up at Arts Alliance Painter's Monday morning session. This was about an hour and a quarter's work after watching a video by Qiang Huang on still life painting. I tried to follow his value set up to start, but then got into painting in my own style.
